Manual in terms of Section 51 of The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000.
1. Introduction
This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, No. 2 of 2000 ("the Act"). The Act gives effect to the provisions of Section 32 of the Constitution, which provides for the right of access to information held by the State and to information held by another person that is required for the exercise or protection of any right.

3. Guide of the South African Human Rights Commission

4. Records Held by the Company
We hold the following categories of records:
- Operational Information: Client assessment data, communication records, service provider agreements.
- Website Information: Website analytics, user interaction data, cookie data.
- Company Records: Financial records, employee records, statutory company records.
5. Procedure for Requesting Access
To request access to a record, the requester must complete the prescribed Form C and submit it to our Information Officer at the email address provided above. The form is available from the SAHRC website.
The requester must provide sufficient detail on the request form to enable the Information Officer to identify the record and the requester. The requester must also indicate which right they are seeking to exercise or protect and why the requested record is required for the exercise or protection of that right.
6. Fees
A requester who seeks access to a record containing personal information about that requester is not required to pay the request fee. Every other requester, who is not a personal requester, must pay the required request fee.
The Information Officer will notify the requester of the prescribed fee (if any) before processing the request.

This manual is available for inspection at our offices and on our website at all times.
